VIRTUAL VEHICLE – Accelerating Innovation

The Virtual Vehicle Research GmbH ranks among Europe’s largest R&D centers for virtual vehicle technology with 300 employees. Research priority is the linking of numerical simulations and hardware testing, which leads to a powerful HW-SW whole system design and automation of testing and validation procedures.

Since its foundation in 2002, VIRTUAL VEHICLE has supported the automotive and rail industry with smart and reliable simulation processes and methods. The company’s mission is to work in an agile, efficient and interdisciplinary way, in order to develop intelligent solutions managing the ever-growing complexity of industry. By doing so, the center focuses on active participation in international research networks, establishing manufacturer-independent standards for the integration of simulation and test as well as virtual validation.

The international partner network of VIRTUAL VEHICLE consists of about 100 national and international industrial partners (OEMs, Tier 1 and Tier 2 suppliers as well as software providers) and more than 40 scientific institutions.

Together with its research partners, the center offers the automotive industry an opportunity to benefit from simulation technologies in a repeatable and reliable manner.
